The candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party, for central senatorial district of kogi state, in the 2023 election, Barr. Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, has congratulated Nigeria women on the occasion of the celebration of International Women’s Day.
In the message titled ‘Don’t Fade Off, Own Your Space, the Social Reformer, regretted that only two women were able to make it to the 10th Senate.
“As we celebrate international women’s day it should be noted that only 2 women made it to the 10th senate .
While assuring that she will get her mandate back, she said three women in the Senate, given their numbers and participation in politics, is still a far cry.
