The Nigeria Medical Association (NMA), Kwara Chapter, on Monday congratulated the encumbent Governor of Kwara, Malam Abdulrahaman Abdulrazak over his re-election.
Dr Ola Ahmed, the Chairman of association gave the felicitation on Monday in Ilorin, in a statement signed by Dr Audu Charles-Jiya, the Public Relations Officer of the association.
Ahmed said: “The Kwara State Branch, wishes to congratulate Malam Abdulrahman Abdulrazak on his worthy re-election as the Executive Governor of Kwara State,” he said.
According to him, the victory at the poll is a testimony to AbdulRazaq giant stride on the infrastructural development in the State.
The chairman observed the improvement especially in healthcare delivery, adding that this is an opportunity to consolidate on all the achievements already recorded and setting the pace for others to follow,” he said.
The Kwara-NMA also felicitated with all the Senators-elect, House of Representatives members elect, and State House of Assembly members elect on their successes at the polls.
The NMA stated that it is looking forward to a very rewarding working relationship, and partnership with the governor.
Ahmed therefore prayed for more wisdom, good health and understanding to pilot affairs of the state in best way required.
Our correspondent, reports that Abdulrazaq has just been declared winner and re-elected for second term under the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).
