Ajaokuta Leaders Inspect Eganyi General Hospital, Charges Electorate to Vote for Usman Ododo for Consolidation

In continuation of the amplification of the New Direction blueprints in all parts of the state, member representing Ajaokuta federal constituency, Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem played a lead role alongside other Ajaokuta leaders on an inspection of general hospitals situated in the Eganyi metropolis.

The first point of the visit was the Palace of HRH Isah Achuja, the Chairman of Ajaokuta Local Government Traditional Council. The monarch who gave the dignitaries a rousing reception and appreciated them for being dutiful lieutenants of Governor Yahaya Bello.

The Commissioner for Health, Hon Zakari Usman who led on a routine check within the interiors of the hospital, said their visit was to ascertain the level of preparedness that will herald the deployment of sophisticated hospital equipment.

While assuring the people of the area of full operation, he noted that adequate security is a key determining factor to be considered.

The Commissioner for Works, Hon Samson Bako told the people of Ajaokuta that the hospital will create more job opportunities for the citizens, adding that Gov Bello’s priority is to create jobs through economic projects.

In his remarks, Hon Sanni Egidi appreciated Gov Bello for his giant signature in the area, adding that the realisation of the general hospital was because the governor places high premium on the welfare of the people of Ajaokuta LGA.

While he described Gov Bello as a people-oriented leader with unprecedented commitments to developments, the Ajaokuta Lawmaker said Alh Usman Ahmed Ododo is a replica of GYB.

He charged the people to work vigorously for the victory of the candidate of the ruling All Progressive Congress to ensure consolidations on the laid down gains.

Hon Jibiril Abu, member representing Ajaokuta state constituency in the Kogi State House of Assembly, said the monumental edifice is not meant to be idle or serve the purpose of a hospital only, rather it satisfies other purposes such as an economic hub and emblem of tourists in the society.

He congratulated the people for such a giant achievement in the area and assured them to expect more through his office.

On his part, the Council Chairman of Ajaokuta LGA, Hon Akaaba Aliyu Mustapha, who played host to the dignitaries who came on inspection, assured the Commissioner of adequate security for the facilities.

Akaba vowed to synergize with the monarchs and community leaders to ensure safety for the facilities and the staff that will be deployed to the hospital.

The Kogi State Focal Person on National and Social Investments Programme (NSIP), Prince Abdukarim Onyiekehi, other top government functionaries, contractors, party stalwarts, monarchs, youths and women folds joined the team on inspection.
