Governor Otu receives Sports Minister, Owan-Enoh,

The Minister of Sports Development, Senator John Owan Enoh, over the weekend, visited the Governor of Cross River State, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu at his residence in Abuja.

Senator Enoh, a former House of Reps member and erstwhile senator like the governor, is one of the two ministers in the cabinet of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu from Cross River State.

In a post on his official facebook page, Governor Otu who warmly received the minister, said sports is one of the key areas of focus by his administration where he hopes to ensure talent development and revenue generation drive.

Describing Senator Enoh as “an excellent personality”, the governor expressed confidence that the sports minister will use his office for the progress of the country and the betterment of Nigerians.

According to Otu, “Yesterday, I had the honour of playing host to the honorable Minister of Sports development Senator John Owan Enoh-JOE at my residence.

“Sports development remains a pivotal focus of my administration as we will be very deliberate about talent development and revenue generation through sports.

“Joe is an excellent personality and I trust he will deliver on the mandate of his office to the betterment of Crossriverians and the Nigerian people in general.”
