The Governor of Cross River State, Senator (Prince) Bassey Edet Otu, has said that former Senate Leader, Senator Victor Ndoma-Egba still has a lot to offer the country.

Otu stated this on Friday when he visited the ex-Senate Leader at his residence in Abuja to felicitate with him on the occasion of his 68th birthday.

The governor recalled Ndoma-Egba’s remarkable stay at the Senate, describing him as “a most remembered Senate Leader.”

Earlier, Otu in a birthday message he personally signed, said: “It is heart-warming to join millions of your esteemed friends, associates and family members to celebrate your 68th Birthday Anniversary.

“Having known you for over three decades now, I can attest to the fact that you are a worthy and dependable servant-leader clothed in humility and focused on humanity; for despite your brilliance in governance as a one-time member of the Cross River State Executive Council and a Senator of the Federal Republic, you have remained a friend-next-door personage. These are astounding testimonials worthy of note!

“Together with my beloved wife – Her Excellency, Rev. Mrs Eyoanwan Otu and the good people of Cross River State, I wish you a hearty birthday and more of God’s grace.
“Soar higher my brother!”
