The Akwa Ibom State Governor, Umo Eno in a show of love and appreciation to the Nigeria Union of Journalists, Akwa Ibom State Council, donated an SUV car to the state chairman of the council.
In a statement by Comrade Dominic Akpan , Secretary Akwa Ibom state Council, said the Governor also announced a donation of 10 brand new cars to other members of the State Working committee, (SWC).
The statement read in part said
“Today was a remarkable day at the NUJ 2025 Thanksgiving Service, which took place at The Apostolic Church in Ikot Ekpene Udo, Gov. Umo Eno’s village.
“The event was marked by a significant gesture of kindness from the Governor, who donated an SUV to the State Chairman, Comrade Amos Etuk.
“But that’s not all. The media – friendly Governor also announced a donation of 10 brand new cars to other members of the SWC, a truly generous gesture.
“This unprecedented display of benevolence has left Journalists in Akwa Ibom State feeling grateful and thankful to God and the Governor.
“May the good Lord continue to bless the Governor and give him soundness of mind and body in Jesus name, Amen.
