The Speaker, Kogi State House of Assembly, Aliyu Umar Yusuf,
has urged Muslim Ummah, to embrace the spirit of sacrifice, unity, and love as they celebrate Eid-el-Kabir .
In a statement by the Chief Press Secretary, Yabagi Mohammed, the Speaker described the Eid-el-Kabir festival as a time of reflection, compassion, and generosity.
The statement called on Muslims to emulate the faith and sacrifice of Prophet Ibrahim, who demonstrated total obedience to Almighty Allah.
It also used the opportunity to appeal to citizens to remember Kogi State and its leadership in their prayers.
He urged for continued support for the administration of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo, commending government officials for their dedication to the development of the state.
It expressed appreciation to members of the State Assembly for their unwavering support and unity, noting that their cooperation has contributed significantly to the smooth running of the House.
