The people of Aiyegunle Gbede community in Ijumu Local Government Area of Kogi State, has expressed deep appreciate to the Governor of the state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo for honouring the community with his esteemed presence at the reception in honour of their son, Prof. Nasir Naeem Abdulsalam, the newly appointed Managing Director of Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited.
The people also commended the former Governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello for finding time to grace the occasion, saying that the event remains a historic and memorable day for their community.

On behalf of the Aiyegunle Gbede Traditional Council, the Aiyegunle Gbede Descendants Union, and the entire sons and daughters of Aiyegunle Gbede, we express our profound and heartfelt appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, ably represented by the Deputy Governor, Comrade Joel Salifu Oyibo, for honoring us with his esteemed presence at the grand reception ceremony held in honor of Prof. Nasir Naeem Abdulsalam, the newly appointed Managing Director of Ajaokuta Steel Company Limited.
The event, which took place in Ayegunle Gbede, Ijumu Local Government Area, remains a historic and memorable day for our community.
We also extend our sincere gratitude to the former Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Yahaya Adoza Bello, for his unwavering support and gracious presence.
