A Non Governmental organization, DE–GREATER HEIGHT FRONT (DE-GFH), has described as shocking the news of the death of Pa Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, father of the Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, who died on Monday 18 August, 2025.
Late Pa Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, has since been buried according to Islamic rites, in his country home Upogoro, in Okene LGA of Kogi State.
The statement signed by Alhaji Ibrahim Isa–Amoka President Worldwide, said “It is with shock that DE–GREATER HEIGHT FRONT (DE-GFH) received the news of the demise of Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo, the amiable father of Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, the Chief Servant of the of Kogi State.
“It is very hard to adequately express our thoughts and emotions right now as it cannot be easily be expressed in a few words or even in a few lines at such a difficult time.
“We guessed the reality has not quite set in that we aren’t going to see the amiable father of the people’s governor any more.
“We had prayed, we had hoped but it pleased God to take him home at this time. We are thankful for his life and the legacies left behind.
“We are thankful for his provision and for the life lessons he thought. We are going to miss his advice and words of wisdom on several issues. He had fought the good fight and has finished the race well.
“Therefore, we wish to use the medium to console the immediate family members that the departed left behind and pray Almighty Allah to accept his soul in Aljanat Fidaus.
