The Vice Chancellor of Kogi State University, Kabba, Professor K.I.T. Eniola fNSM, FRA, has extended his heartfelt condolences to the Honorable Commissioner for Finance, Budget and Economic Planning, Asiwaju Idris Asiru, on the passing of his beloved father, Alhaji Asiru Ijagbemi.
In a condolence message issued on Monday in Kabba, the seat of Kogi State University, signed by Oshaloto J. Tade, Public Relations Officer of the Institution, Professor Eniola described the loss of one’s parent, regardless of age, as deeply painful. However, he urged the Hon. Commissioner and the entire family to find comfort in the fact that their patriarch lived a long and fulfilled life, reaching the age of 95.
The Vice Chancellor further noted that the remarkable accomplishments of his children, particularly that of Mr. Asiru Idris, and other enduring legacies stand as clear evidence of Baba Ijagbemi’s diligence, values, devotion he invested into raising the family.
Professor Eniola prayed for God’s comfort and strength for the family during this period of mourning.
