The Governor of Benue state, Rev. Fr. Hyacinth Alia has approved the following changes at the Bureau for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
- Denen Aondoakaa, Adviser in Charge of the Bureau has been redeployed to the office of the Chief of Staff, Government House.
- Barr. Ajinge Saar to return to Ministry of Justice.
- Derby Amine to move back to Ministry of Justice
- Mrs. Galu back to Accountant General’s office
- Shagba Ahura back to Head of Service
- Rhoda Aboh back to Head of Service.
Meanwhile, the following are to takeover at the Bureau of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
- Terna Ayu – Permanent Secretary.
- Terkura B. Dzwungwe – Dir. Acct and Finance
- Sule J Liambee Dir. Admin and Supply
- Esther Osugh to serve as Cashier.
- Uza Christopher Uza. Dir LG services.
In a related development, Mr. Noel Wende has been redeployed from BIPC to the Head of Service.
The changes are with immediate effect. Those to takeover at the Bureau are directed to report to their new offices not later than 8am tomorrow, Wednesday September 24, 2025.
