The Kogi State Vigilante Service, said it has apprehended a suspected serial burglar Ojochenemi Samuel, who is said to have been terrorizing residents of Etutekpe axis of Olamaboro local Government Area of Kogi State.
In a statement by Idris S. Idris,
Public Relations Officer of the Kogi State Vigilante Service, said exhibits recovered from the suspect at the point of arrest includes; One single-barrel firearm, A wheelbarrow Three mobile cell phones and Some cash in Naira denomination .
According to Idris, on interrogation, the suspect confessed to have burgled into the house of one Mr. Sunday Abutu and stolen the above mentioned exhibits.
He added that the suspect and exhibits recovered have been handed over to the Nigeria Police Force Olamaboro for further necessary action.

On 19 September, 2025 The Kogi State Vigilante Service (KSVS) Olamaboro Command, acting on an intelligence tip off, apprehended a suspected serial burglar Ojochenemi Samuel (m) who is said to have been terrorizing residents of Etutekpe axis of Olamaboro local Government Area of Kogi State.
Exhibits recovered from the suspect at the point of arrest are:
1 One single-barrel firearm
2. A wheelbarrow
3. Three (3) mobile cell phones
4. Some cash in Naira denomination
On interrogation, the suspect confessed to have burgled into the house of one Mr. Sunday Abutu and stolen the above mentioned exhibits.
The suspect and exhibits recovered have been handed over to Nigeria Police Force Olamaboro for further necessary action.
Comptroller-General (KSVS), Ibrahim Omeiza Sani DIS (Rtd) fsi+,minmm, Commended the timely response of his Men and reiterated the resolve of the service in securing lives and property in the State.
He further commended the State Governor Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo for his continuous support for the service to deliver on its mandates.
