The member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency in the National Assembly, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem, has promised to continue to give his constituents effective and quality representation of his people in the national Assembly.
Hon Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem made this declaration during the 2025 Press Week celebration of the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) Kogi, council, on Thursday in Lokoja.
According to him, the provision of critical infrastructure for his constituency, empowerment programmes for women and youth in communities across the federal Constituency has been his major focus since his assumption of office.
While congratulating the NUJ for the Successful celebration of its week, he commended members of the pen profession for helping to deepening and accelerating the growth of democracy in Nigeria.
The House of Representatives member who was represented by Alhaji Ali Atabor, promised continuous collaboration with the Union to advance the course of members of the Union in the state.
“In the days ahead I will make my presence more felt in the press center. I will collaborate with you to ensure adequate welfare for your members.
“Your job is strategic in the advancement of democracy in our dear country Nigeria. You certainly deserve the support of all us. In the coming days you are going to feel my presence more here.
“I want to sincerely congratulate you on the Successful hosting of your 2025 week. The award you have given to me today is a wake up call. It will certainly ginger me to do more for my people.
“Of all the numerous awards I have received in the past this is the most treasured, coming from an independent organization like the NUJ. I therefore promised not to disappoint you or betray this confidence you have reposed in me through this award. Hon. Abdulraheem concluded.
