The All Progressives Congress, (APC) in Ajaokuta LGA is harvesting large number of Defectors from opposition parties of PDP, SDP, ADC, NNPP and other political.
These Defectors are top notch stakeholders in their former political parties who are ready to collapse the structure of their former political parties into Ajaokuta APC
In an event in lokoja, the state capital on Sunday, while addressing critical stakeholders ahead of a mega rally to welcome hundreds of decampees from other political parties into APC, the political leader of Ajaokuta LGA and Member Representing Ajaokuta Federal constituency, Hon. Sanni Egidi Abdulraheem told journalists that APC has taken over the entire terrain and political landscape of the LGA.
The Federal lawmaker further stated that Ajaokuta LGA is not left out in the tsunami of defection as an avalanche of notable politicians across the 14 wards of the LGA are set to defect into the APC.
Speaking also, decampees, noted that their defection was s borne out of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda that is gradually transforming and reshaping the economy for good and also the incredible performance of governor Ahmed Usman Ododo of Kogi state whose consolidation agenda has helped transformed and strengthened all sectors of the economy in the state
