Kogi Information Commissioner Bags Masters Degree in Criminology and Security Studies

Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Honourable Kingsley Fanwo has bagged a Master’s Degree in Criminology and Security Studies.

Honourable Kingsley Fanwo subsequently participated at the seventh Convocation ceremony of Salem University, Lokoja where he bagged the degree.

While speaking with newsmen at the event, Fanwo described the accomplishment as a landmark achievement for him and his colleagues.

He explained that he intentionally choose the course to enhance his contribution to security development in the state, noting that the training has equipped them to become global change agents.

He stressed that Governor Ododo strongly believes that Kogi State and Nigeria would grow stronger when institutions like Salem University produce innovative and passionate change agents with people prepared to rebuild the society.

He urged the graduands to enter the workforce not merely as job seekers, but as problem solvers and drivers of transformation.

The Commissioner congratulated the graduands and encouraged them to step confidently into the next phase of life, using the knowledge, character, and values acquired to become instruments of positive change wherever they go.

Over one hundred and seventy students graduated at the session, comprising of undergraduate and post graduate students.

Honourable Kingsley Fanwo was cheered up at the occasion by the management and staff of Kogi State Ministry of Information and Communication led by the Permanent Secretary, Mr Celestine Idoko, mni and Technical Assistant to the Ministry, Mr Ebenezar Adurodija.
