The Ministry of Health has begun enrolling its staff into the Digitalization of Staff Records initiative of the Kogi State Head of Civil Service. The exercise was launched by the Permanent Secretary, Mr. Momoh Aziz Steven, on 27th November, 2025, at the Ministry’s conference hall.
The Permanent Secretary thanked the Head of Service, Dr. Elijah Evinemi, for championing this reform, noting that it reflects government’s commitment to a modern, transparent, and efficient public service. He described the enumeration as a major step toward a fully digitalized system where every staff member is uniquely identified and properly documented to enhance integrity and strengthen HR processes.
The desk officer, Mr. Daniel assured that he will closely supervise the exercise to ensure accurate and seamless data capture. He clarified that the process is not another screening, but a modern upgrade of civil servants’ records to meet global standards.
