The Iyalaja of Ikoyi, Chief Mrs Bolanle sanni has urged the people of Offa in Kwara start to strengthen unity and love in their collective and individual pursuits for transportation and progress of the community.
Chief Mrs Bolanle sanni gave the charge during the 2025 Offa Social Forum held over the weekend at the Cyprian Ekwensi centre for Arts and Culture,, Abuja.
Expressing her delight for being part of Offa cultural heritage through marriage, She emphasized the important of preserving cultural heritage. According to her, ” Anywhere we are we must not forget our cultural heritage”.
Although an indigene of Kogi state, her husband hails from Offa and encouraged the people of Offa to teach their children the culture and heritage as they can imbibe the national virtue of their image.
She also offered prayers for unity amongst Offa people in the Abuja branch of the Offa Development Union ( ODU) and across the global places.
The Offa Social Forum , established ten years ago, is celebrated annually to promote love, understanding and Social bond amongst Offa sons and daughters residing in Abuja and beyond.
This year’s celebration witnessed a large turnout, with attendees adorned in different colourful uniform outfit.
