I extend my heartfelt congratulations to Your Excellency on the remarkable milestone of completing two impactful years as the Executive Governor of Kogi State. This anniversary is not only a celebration of time but a testament to your unwavering commitment to the development, unity, and prosperity of our dear state. Your leadership has brought visible transformation across multiple sectors: Security, Infrastructure, Education, Healthcare, and Youth Empowerment. The stability and continuity of your administration are commendable, and I recognize your tireless efforts in consolidating the gains of your predecessor while charting a bold new course for inclusive governance.
Your Excellency, your strides in infrastructural development, digital innovation, agricultural revitalization, and civil service reform have not gone unnoticed. The people of Kogi State are witnessing a new era of governance rooted in transparency, accountability, and people-centered policies. We salute your vision and the courage with which you have steered the affairs of the state.
However, Your Excellency, with the deepest sense of loyalty and respect, I humbly bring to your attention a matter of concern that weighs heavily on my heart. The Ilajo Royal Family, which holds the distinguished position as the sole traditional royalty in Kabba, is yet to experience any meaningful support from your administration, such as political empowerment, economic inclusion, or social development. This is particularly disheartening, considering our unwavering support for your government and the All Progressives Congress (APC). My family members are not only loyal party faithfuls but have, over the years, been devoted financial contributors and grassroots mobilizers for the APC cause. We have stood firmly with the party through thick and thin, believing in its progressive ideals and in the promise of inclusive governance.
I respectfully appeal to Your Excellency to consider the inclusion of our sons and daughters in strategic roles within your administration, be it in political appointments, economic initiatives, or social development programs. Our family possesses a wealth of experience, integrity, and commitment that can further enrich your vision for a greater Kogi State.
