Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) Mourns Tragic Loss of Senior Manager, Hon. Egidi Siyaka Raji

he Kogi State Electricity Regulatory Commission (KERC) announces with profound shock and deep sorrow the tragic passing of its Senior Manager, Audit Unit, Hon. Egidi Siyaka Raji, who died in a road accident today (Monday) along the Adogo–Ajaokuta road.

In a statement by Alhaji Kassim Mabo, Secretary to the Commission, Hon. Egidi Siyaka Raji was a dedicated, committed, and resourceful professional who served KERC with distinction.

He was widely loved and admired by staff at all levels for his generosity, affection, and uncommon spirit of kindness.

As Head of Audit, he demonstrated professionalism and excellence, never found wanting in the discharge of his duties.

The Secretary of the Commission Alhaji Kassim Mabo on behalf of Engr. Ibrahim S. Abdwaaris, Chairman/CEO of KERC, expressed deep shock and heartfelt condolences on behalf of the entire commission.

He extended sympathy to the immediate family of the deceased, including his wife, children, and his younger brother, Rt. Hon. Sani Egidi Abdulraheem, member representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, as well as to the management and staff of KERC and the people of Ajaokuta Local Government Area.

“The Commission has lost a noble and dedicated officer whose contributions will be dearly missed. We pray Almighty Allah to grant his soul eternal rest, forgive his shortcomings, and admit him into Aljannah Firdaus.

May Allah also grant his family and loved ones the strength and fortitude to bear this painful loss,” Alhaji Mabo stated.

KERC stands united in grief and will continue to honor Hon. Egidi Siyaka Raji’s legacy of service, generosity, and professionalism.
