67th Birthday:  Bello eulogises  Oshiomhole, says he is a pragmatic leader with rare vision

Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, has described Adams Oshiomole, as a pragmatic leader with a rare vision, as the All Progressive Congress (APC) National Chairman celebrates his 67th birthday.

 

This was contained in a statement issued by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr Onogwu Muhammed, in Lokoja, on Thursday.

 

Bello extolled the APC chairman for his uncommon wisdom, remarkable vision, and exemplary leadership that had strengthened the nation’s democracy.

 

Bello joined members of Oshiomhole’s family, friends, business associates and the APC in celebrating the former governor of Edo State, for his great impacts and accomplishments over the years.

”On behalf of the government and the good people of Kogi State, I wish to felicitate with your Excellency, on the occasion of your 67th birthday celebrations.

 

“As the National chairman of our great party; the APC; you have exhibited uncommon wisdom, resilience, pragmatism, and exemplary leadership; to deserve our greatest respect for the stability you have brought to our party.

 

”You have had a remarkable life that is great in accomplishment and great in years.

 

”Over the years, you have made extraordinary memories and written your own unique story into the Nigerian narrative.

 

”As you reflect on your contributions to our nation and humanity at large, we trust you take tremendous pride in all you have accomplished”, he said.

The News Agency of Nigeria reports that, Oshiomhole was the Secretary of the Nigerian Textile Union, a former President of the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and a two- termed governor of Edo state, South South Nigeria.
