The Chairman of Kogi State National Youth Council of Nigeria, (NYCN), Comrade Abdulrahaman Abdulmumin, has commended the General Manager of Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency, Alhaji Chief Dauda O. Momoh, for the grand and visible achievements of the Agency in rural development across Kogi State.

The NYCN chairman gave the commendation when he led a delegation of Youths on a familiarization visit to the agency’s headquarters in Lokoja.

The Youth Chairman expressed happiness in what he described as the Agency’s uncommon prudential tactics, in displaying the cost analysis of Community Development Plans (CDPs) boldly written at every project in all the benefiting community.

He noted that that such transparent modus-oprandis is unprecedented, uncommon and open enough for every discerning mind in the State and beyond to applaud.

The Youth Chairman who is visibly over joyed with the prudent nature of the Agency, seeks partnership and inclusion of Youths in the scheme of things for all-round development.

In his response on behalf of the Agency’s Staff, the General Manager appreciated the thoughtfulness of the Kogi State NYCN, especially in the area of partnership, saying such an arrangement can re-engineer the mindset of the restive Youths towards being productive and supportive of the State Government Developmental Agenda.

The General Manager described the visit as one that portrays commitment, zeal and passion for development saying that “the Executive Governor of the State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo is still within the Youth enclave; one that have listening ears to everybody and anything that can bring peace, unity and development to the State.

“Approach him with the Youths’ Developmental Template or Blueprint, he will not hesitate to buy into it, if it is for the good of the State. As for Kogi CSDA, we have been Youth minded in all of our operations and projects implementations. We are already a part of the Youth body and always ready to work with the Youth in any possible way for the development of the State, the General Manager assured.
