The Senator representing Anambra Central in the Red Chamber celebrated the Yuletide season with children in his constituency during the annual Christmas party usually organised by his wife, Lady Prisca Umeh for kids in the senatorial district.
A statement on the event indicated that “The home of the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Dr Victor Umeh OFR (Ohamadike Ndigbo) was filled with children from the various communities in Anambra Central who thronged therein for the annual Children Christmas Party organised by the Wife of the Senator, Lady Prisca Umeh (Osodieme), on every Christmas Day.
“In his brief Address to the children, Senator Umeh charged them to be good children, respectful and obedient to their parents and to take their education seriously emphasizing that Jesus Christ whose Birthday is being celebrated every 25th of December (Christmas Day), despite being born to redeem the world was obedient to Mary and Joseph.
“There were lots of entertainment and refreshments for the children, gifts, and lessons on the significance of Christmas as well as dance with their hosts, Senator Victor Umeh and wife, Lady Prisca Umeh.
“There were also quizzes, dancing competitions, and walking in the sack bag in which winners gleefully received Prizes.”
