Ochozarigi Community grateful to Kogi State government.

The Ochozarigi community in Okene Local Government Area (LGA) of Kogi State, has expressed gratitude to the Kogi State government for its support in providing essential infrastructure to the area.

The community gave the appreciation when representatives from the Ochozarigi Community Project Management Committee (CPMC) paid a courtesy visit to the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency (KGCSDA) to appreciate the provision of a clinic and a motorized borehole in their community.

Speaking during the visit, the chairman of the committee, Sulaiman Idris, acknowledged the impact of the projects, noting that they were the only government presence in Ochozarigi.

He emphasized that the borehole has significantly improved access to clean water, while the clinic has enhanced healthcare services for residents. However, he appealed for additional interventions to further improve the quality of life in the community.

In response, the General Manager of KGCSDA, Chief Momoh Dauda, thanked the delegation for their visit and assured them that their message of appreciation and request for further support would be conveyed to His Excellency, the Governor of Kogi State.

He also encouraged the community to take ownership of the projects, ensuring their proper maintenance and sustainability for long-term benefits.

The courtesy visit was well attended by the management of the agency, who reiterated their commitment to grassroots development and community empowerment across Kogi State.
