The Chairman of Okehi Local Government Area of Kogi State, Hon. Monday Amoka Eneji (ODU), has assured the General Manager of Kogi state Community and Social Development Agency, (CSDA) Chief Dauda Momoh, of an
improvement in the existing working relationship and partnership between his council and the agency
This according to the chairman is in a bid to enhance the intervention of the Kogi State Community and Social Development around the communities and Groups in Okehi Local Government area of Kogi State.
The Chairman gave this indication when he paid a working visit to the General Manager of the Kogi state Community and Social Development Agency, Chief Dauda O. Momoh in Okene recently.
He disclosed that the Kogi State Community and Social Development Agency as one of the delivery platform for the state on the Nigeria Community Action for Resilience and Economic Stimulus (NG-CARES) is making the State proud working in partnership with the communities and groups in selected communities based on the poverty map of Kogi State.
He commended the Agency on the ongoing commissioning exercise to mark the One Year anniversary of the governor and promised the collaboration of the Local government Council to the Agency’s activities in his area.
Chief Dauda O. Momoh in his welcome address, expressed gratitude to the Governor of the Kogi state, His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo for funding the programme and assured rural communities of extensive development projects aimed at reducing poverty, combating hunger, and promoting self-reliance.
He commended the commitment of the state government towards prioritizing the welfare and development of the people, assuring them that more positive changes are on the way.
