The Isah kutepa Foundation the weekend, distributed essential food items worth N75 million naira to over 3,000 households across Lokoja the Kogi state capital.
While flagging off the distribution of the items, the Maigari Lokoja, Alhaji Ibrahim Gambo Kabir Maikarfi 1V, who expressed
gratitude to Alhaji Abdulsaq Isah kutepa for the gesture, called on Hakimis to justify the confidence reposed in them by reaching out to the vulnerable persons in their communities.
He directed them to constitute committee for the effective distribution of the Ramadan palliatives in their various areas
“you must justify the confidence reposed in you by making sure the items get to the vulnerable persons and the needy” he said.
The monarch urged influential members of the society to emulate the Isah Kutepa foundation by reaching out to the needy, particularly this period of Ramadan fast.
He quoted from the Prophetic teachings:”The Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) emphasized the virtue of feeding others, stating “The best of you are those who feed others”.
Items distributed includes rice, beans, millet, guinea-corn, sugar, ground nut oil and spaghetti.
