Cross River State Governor, Senator (Prince) Bassey Otu, on Tuesday, carried out an assessment tour of some of the important infrastructure projects embarked upon by his administration in pursuit of the actualization of his People-First agenda and fulfilment of his campaign promises to the Cross Riverians.
The assessment tour was aimed at evaluating the level of progress so far made in the execution of the projects designed to transform the state and regain its lost glory.
Otu, the proactive governor determined and committed towards bettering the lives of the people, expressed delight and satisfaction with the extent of work done in the ongoing projects, while giving the assurance that most of the projects will soon be ready for use.
A post on the governor’s Facebook page reads: “Today, I conducted an assessment tour of some critical infrastructure projects under construction to evaluate the progress made so far.
“I’m excited to see that work on my office is nearing completion!
“Our state library, Local Government Service Commission office, several roads, and other key facilities are beginning to take shape beautifully.
“In just a few weeks, we’re optimistic that most of these projects will be fully ready for use.
“Progress is happening!”
