AHEAD OF FEBRUARY 2019 ELECTIONS: SENATOR OHIARE CANVASSES VOTE FOR BUHARI :

A former senator representing Kogi Central in the red chamber of the National Assembly, Mohammed Salami Ohiare has call on the people of kogi central senatorial District of kogi state to vote massively  for the re-election of president Mohammadu Buhari in 2019 presidential election.

 

According to him, President Muhammadu Buhari still remain the only hope of common man in Nigeria, because of his policies which he said were targeted at the alleviation of the sufferings of the ordinary people of Nigeria.

 

The senator who gave the charge when accompanied  vice president yemi Osibanjo to Okene, lauded the empowerment programmes of the present administration, stressed that the present administration has done a lot in the areas of lnfrastructural development, rehabilitation of existing roads and the diversification of the economy to the next level of development.

Senator Ohiare disclose that the moribund Ajaokuta steel company would soon become operational, saying that the federal government under the leadership of President Buhari has approved the sum of one billion dollars for the completion of the project in order to create employment opportunities for the teaming youths across the country,

 

He added that with the current initiative of President Buhari, the country would soon become one of the fastest growing economy in the world.

Sen Ohiare appeal to the electorate to avoid any act of violence that could result to fracas in the coming election, saying that “we are certain that our great party APC will emerge victorious and  urged the people to vote for all APC candidates in the elections.

The senator thanks the people for coming out in their numbers to receive the vice president yemi Osibanjo and describe the large turn out as a sign of good things to happen in kogi central.

 

He commended the security agents for maintaining the fragile peace and urged all to support the security agents for the over all development of the area.
