Assassination Threat: Group Calls For investigation into Timi Frank’s Allegation. —–Tips President Buhari for second term ——Says PDP has something to hide

Ahead of the 2019 general elections, a group working for the re-election of President Muhammadu Buhari, the ‘Broom Revolution’, has called on security agencies to take seriously the allegation by Timi Frank of an alleged plan to assassinate some Peoples Democratic Party, (PDP), stalwarts so as to put the record straight.

 

The  National Coordinator of the Group, Mohammed Abubakar, said that  the group was curious over the allegation, saying that the allegations are suspicious and it could also be a case of the pot calling the kettle black.

 

Abubakar noted that the allegations by Timi Frank is not what should be swept under the carpet, calling on security agencies to make an enquiry into the alleged plan to hire Russian Snippets into Nigeria by the PDP.

While noting that the PDP having sensed that they have lost out in the forthcoming election would want to get it through desperate means, by causing anarchy, mayhem, thus the need to investigate the allegations by Timi Frank, who may be hiding under the allegation to attack the leadership of the APC and the presidency.

 

The National Coordinator, Broom Revolution Group, said the press briefing is to raise security awareness, so as to beef up security in and around the presidency, sighting an alleged plan to assassinate President Muhammadu Buhari by some top members of the PDP, saying that their recent meeting connect to this plan.

He however, asserted that  the organization’s interest aims at promoting peace, and to rally support for President Mohammadu Buhari, and the APC.

 

The National Coordinator, says he was convinced that President Buhari would win a second term, based on the strength of his performance and achievements, describing his first term as eventful.

 

Mohammed Abubakar said the score card of President Buhari shows that people no longer have a field day at the National Treasury, adding that having tamed the thieves, the next efforts by the president would be infrastructural development.

According to Abubakar, under the Buhari administration, roads are been fixed, the railways are now working, decayed and abandoned projects are now functional having been completed, saying President Buhari has done well and deserves a reelection in the February election to enable him continue the good works he has started.
