BREAKING  Bribery allegation :Ganduje fails to honour invitation by Kano House of Assembly

The governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje, on Friday failed to  appear before the Kano state House of Assembly committee investigating the authenticity of the video clips showing him receiving bribe in hard currency.

Recalled that the committed had on Tuesday requested the governor to appear before it today to defend himself in the bribery saga Involving him.

An Online journalist, Jafar Jafar had last month released a videos showing Governor Ganduje,  allegedly receiving bribe in hard currency from a contractor,forcing the state House of Assembly to set an adhoc committee to investigate the matter

However, the state commissioner of Information, Mohammed Garba, who appeared on behalf of the governor, dismissed  the allegation.

Garba while  dismissing the allegation, described  the videos as fake and asked the committee to discontenance it.

Investigations by Enduringnews revealed that the whistle blower may be willing to testify in the ongoing investigation by the Kano State House of Assembly.

The committee had promised also to engage the service of experts that would not be known to Ganduje and Jafar to take a look into the videos.

The editor of the online news paper, Jafar had last week appeared before the committee to give further insight into the matter.

Jafar however refused to disclose his source (the whistle blower) but promised to contact his Lawyer before doing so if the need raises.
