Eid-El-Kabir: Kogi Education Commissioner, Osikoya Felicitates with Muslim Faithful



The Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology (MOEST), Kogi State, Hon. Rosemary Ojochenemi Osikoya, has felicitated with Muslims in the state as they joined the rest umma in Nigeria and worldwide to celebrate Eid-El-Kabir.

In a statement on Sunday in Lokoja by Mr Ademu Seidu, the Public Relation Officer, MOEST, Osikoya congratulated the Muslim faithful and prayed Allah to continue to bless and grant them the opportunity to witness more Eid-El-Kabir celebration in good health peace and harmony.

The commissioner urged Muslims in the state and the entire country to use this period to pray for national peace, religious tolerance and development in Nigeria.

She appealed to Muslim faithful to make personal sacrifices to promote good neighborliness among all the residents of the state, saying, ”Eid-El-Kabir is all about sacrifice”.

While enjoined the people to work towards greater development of education in the state, she reaffirmed the commitment of Gov. Yahaya Bello and his administration to transforming the education sector in the state to greater heights.

”I sincerely wish our Muslim brothers and sisters in the MOEST, the State and Nigeria at large a happy Eid-El-Kabir celebration,” she said.
