FG, States, told to address infrastructural deficit in educational institutions 




Government at all levels have been called upon to urgently remedy  infrastructural deficit in educational institutions in the country.


The Initiator, positive impact half hour programme on Tao FM Radio, Comrade Ibrahim Adavize made the call during the third year Anniversary of the programme at Okene.

The initiator explained that the level of infrastructural decay in primary, secondary and tertiary institutions in the country was alarming and advised the Federal government to do something urgently to reverse the trend.


According to him, the positive impact half hour programme was aimed at encouraging quality education.

Comrade Adavize noted that investing in the lives of the people through education was important and called on well to do individuals to assist the less privilege in the society.

The programme initiator also enjoined government at all levels to resolve the ongoing industrial action by the lecturers of universities in the country and appealed to the lecturers to also come to the negotiation table to resolve their differences.


In a remarks ,a Senior Lecturer with the Federal University Lokoja, Doctor Abdulraham Ochi commended the initiator of the programme Comrade Adavize for the initiative, noting that the best legacies anyone could bequeath his children is quality education.

Earlier,in their separate remarks,Mr Michael Emmanuel,Mr Itopa Muhammed and Rachael Taiye thanked God for the doggedness of the celebrant and encourage youth in Ebiraland to emulate his good gesture.


Highlight of the programme was the presentation of scholarship to the less privileged children and certificate of honour to some deserving personalities.
