Kogi State Chapter Chairman of Nigeria Union of Pensioners, Comrade Engr. Clement Ohida has sent a message of congratulations to Gov. Usman Ahmed Ododo on the 33 years of the creation of the State.
Kogi NUP in a statement issued to Newsmen by the Chairman, Comrade Engr. Clement Ohida described the present administration under the leadership of Gov Usman Ahmed Ododo as one that is working resolutely to reposition the state for the better.
The Union praised the administration’s commitment to fulfilling every promise made to Pensioners as well as those in the Manifesto and those in the Kogi State 32-Year Development Plan.
According to NUP, “the programmes are designed to usher in sustainable development, improved infrastructure, enhanced security, and a brighter future for the people particularly the Pensioners”.
The Union called on the citizens of the State to join hands with Governor Ododo in building a virile and sustainable development, pointing out that no administration can succeed without the support of the people it serves.
The NUP assured that the present administration has shown purposefulness in taking the State to greater heights, saying that what is now needed is cooperation of the people.
The State Chairman, assured the present administration of the support of Pensioners now and at all times.
