Kogi East Senate: ADC Candidate, Adoji Asked To Remain Focus

—Gets Massive Endorsement Ahead of Saturday Poll.

 

The African Democratic Congress Party, (ADC)  Senatorial Candidate for Kogi East, Doctor Victor Alewo Adoji has been urged to remain focused in the pursuit of his ambition to effectively represent the Senatorial district.

 

The Chairman of the party in Ankpa local govt area, Mr Anthony Itodo made the remarks while addressing party faithfuls and the candidate at a meeting in Ankpa.

 

Mr Itodo who said the senatorial district has lost its voice in the last 8 years due to poor representation added that with Dr Adoji as the Senator in the red chamber, , Igala Bassa voice would be heard loud and clear.

He told Igala Bassa people to vote Dr Adoji based on his character, competence and capacity and not on party basis.

 

The party chairman commended the senatorial candidate for making himself available for the great task ahead stressing that with his knowledge of the socio economic problems facing Igala Bassa land, solutions are on the way for the emancipation of the district.

 

In his remark, the senatorial candidate for Kogi East, Dr victor Alewo Adoji expressed appreciation to the elders, leaders and people of Igala Bassa land for endorsing him as their candidate and assured of his resolve to work relentlessly for the development of the district.

Dr Adoji reassured the people that the exploitation of the people of Ankpa local govt in particular through their coal exploration would come to an end if he is voted in, adding that similar effort would be made to list Ibaji local govt in Kogi state as an oil producing area of the country.

 

Dr Adoji said he would use all efforts towards the completion of Bagana – Guto bridge in Omala local govt to open the area for accelerated development of the whole of Igala Bassa land.

 

Others who spoke at the enlarged meeting expressed happiness that Dr victor Adoji’s candidature was enjoying massive support and appealed to Igala Bassa people to support him to realize his ambition for effective representation.
