Kogi guber; APC Inaugurates campaign Council, Committees



The Kogi chapter of the All Progressive’s Congress, (APC), has inaugurated it’s State Campaign Council committee for the Nov. 16, Kogi governorship election.

Speaking at the ceremony at the Glass House, Government House, Lokoja, the state chairman of the APC, Hon. Abdullahi Bello Congratulates members of the Campaign council, urging them to ensure that they work assiduously for the overwhelming victory of GYB-CEDO.

He further said that the excellent performance of Governor Bello is an added advantage to the party, adding that the human and infrastructural development will make it easy for the various Committees to succeed in their assignment, towards ensuring overwhelming victory for the APC in the Governorship Election.

The Director-General of GYB-CEDO Campaign Council, Sen. Smart Adeyemi said the Campaign council had made serious efforts at the grassroots, saying that it put in place proper arrangements for a robust campaign in all units, wards and local government areas of the state.

He therefore called on the people to massively vote for the ruling party, the APC, in the November 16 Governorship Election.

Earlier, the Executive Governor of kogi state, who is also the Governorship Candidate of APC in the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello thanked the newly inaugurated members of all committees.

He expressed his appreciation to the party and the people of the state for giving him the opportunity to serve kogi state.

Bello said that he delighted in the large turnout of party faithfuls, saying that the party is determined to win the election in November.

He promised to consolidates on his outstanding Achievements provided during his first term in office especially in the areas of security, agriculture, rehabilitation and construction of roads, provision of basic health services, tourism, and provision of portable water.
