The Kogi State Hajj Commission has commenced enlightment programmes and lectures for kogi pilgrims in preparation for the proper Hajj in Makkah, Saudi Arabia.
In a statement signed by the Permanrnt Member, (PM), incharge of Welfare and Information, Alh Abdulbaqi Muhammadjamiu, said that the lectures is to educate the pilgrims on the rules and regulations guiding Hajj exercise.
According to the PM, duringn the enlightenment programmes, the Executive Chairman, Shaikh Lukman Abdullahi Imam cautioned the pilgrims to always move in groups.
The chairman also enjoyed the pilgrims to conduct themselves properly by obeying the rules and regulations guiding the performance of Hajj.
He equally charged the pilgrims to be good ambassadors of both Kogi state and Nigeria by abiding by the laws of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
