Kogi PDP Petition Police Commissioner, Over Alleged Threat To Disrupt Campaign.

The Kogi State Chapter of the Peoples Democratic Party, has written a save our soul letter to the Kogi State Commissioner of Police, on alleged threat to disrupt the campaign schedule of the party in the state.

 

In a petition signed by Hon Sam Abenemi , The PDP State Chairman, the PDP called on the Commissioner of Police and other security agencies to investigate the APC threat to disrupt the peaceful and people oriented campaign of the PDP thus far.

 

While pointing out that the PDP having signed the peace accord to maintain peace before, during and after the general elections, laments that the ruling APC is bent on creating chaos in the state, an action the PDP observed would not augur well for peace and tranquility of the state.

The PDP therefore called on the concerned security agencies to take the alleged threat with the seriousness it deserves, and appeal that a conducive environment be created for the PDP to campaign.

 

The PDP letter signed by Hon. Sam Abenemi, State Deputy Chairman, warned against complacency, as the consequences would spell doom for peace and tranquility in the state.
