Pilgrims from Kogi state will this night depart the City of Makkah for Muna in commencement of Hajj proper.
The statement by the Permanrnt Member incharge of Welfare and Information Abdulbaqi Muhammadjamiu, said that the pilgrims were already excited and looking forward to the spiritual exercise which is the climax of their activities in the Holy land of Saudi Arabia.
The Commission enjoyed pilgrims to use the period to rededicate themselves to the service of Allah, by observing their prayers and obligations.
Pilgrims were equally advised to work in groups and in addition adhere strictly to the teachings of the Holy prophet Muhammad (SAW), with regards to the performance of Hajj.
The Commission called on the pilgrims to always pray for the peace and development of kogi State and Nigeria.
