Kogi pilgrims sets to return to Nigeria, after a successful Hajj.



All is now set for the return of Kogi state pilgrims to the 2019 Hajj exercise. Our correspondent can authoritatively confirm.

According to a telephone message from the Kogi Hajj commission, the return journey of the pilgrims will commence by 1.30am on 26 August, 2019.

The commission commended pilgrims for putting up good conduct throughout the Hajj Operation.

The message added that pilgrims from the state have proved themselves to be good ambassadors of Kogi State and Nigeria at large.

The statement enjoyed them to imbibe the lessons of Hajj and pray for continued peace in Nigeria and Kogi state in particular.

“Our pilgrims have demonstrated good conduct throughout the hajj exercise. They have proved to be good ambassadors of not only Kogi State, but Nigeria at large.

“The commission therefore enjoyed them to always abide by the lessons learnt from the Hajj exercise. They should continue to pray for the peace of Nigeria and Kogi state in particular.

The commission therefore wish the pilgrims safe trip back home and Allah’s protection over the pilgrims, their immediate family and the entire Muslim Ummah.
