Alhaji Abubakar Ibrahim, Peoples Democratic Party Leading governorship aspirant says his administration if elected would make the wellbeing of people living with disabilities cardinal.
Abuibro, as he is fondly referred stated this at the sideline while consulting with delegates of the party in Lokoja, ahead the party’s forthcoming primaries.
The governorship hopeful described the present situation as not acceptable, promised to build and improve on schools for the persons living with disabilities.
Aside given them scholarship, training to acquire skills as well as in other fields like sports would take the centre stage of his administration.
Abubakar Ibrahim described the coming governorship election as one that would determine the survival of Kogi State and its people, said the time to look beyond personal sentiments is now.
The guber hopeful lamented that for the state to be able to pay few of its workers with bailout funds when it is on record that it has consistently received monthly allocations, does not speak well of the present administration.
The PDP governorship aspirant said it is clearly evident that if something urgent is not done to remedy the situation, another term for the APC led administration, would completely wipe away the civil service, which he noted is the main stay of the state’s economy.
