Police arrest two notorious criminals in Kogi State

The Kogi state police command on Tuesday said that it has arrested some hoodlums and armed robbery suspects who have been terrorizing the people of Kogi State particularly Ganaja village and its envorons.
In a statement signed by the Police Public Relations Officer, (PPRO),  William Ayah, said the suspects were arrested by the police due to an information volunteered by a patriotic member of the public.
“Consequent on the information received from members of the public that hoodlums who are terrorizing innocent people in the State particularly the residents of Ganaja Village Area, Lokoja were sighted dispossessing people of their valuables at gun point.
“Acting on this information, operatives attached to Federal Anti-Robbery Squad, (FSARS ) in Kogi State led by its Commander, DSP Babagana Bukar promptly swung into action and arrested the duo of Abubakar Sadiq and Ufedo Jacob while other members escaped.
“Both suspects confessed to the crime. Other items recovered from them include, One  Locally made pistol, One  live cartridge and One  red unregistered Motobi Motorcycle.
According to the PPRO, efforts is on top gear to arrest other fleeing members of gang.
Mr Ayah confirmed that the Suspects would soon  be arraigned in court.
