Those rating my representation as wasteful are mischievous, detractors- Hon Lawal



—- says Governor Bello is a fair, upright, leader

The member representing Ajaojuta Federal Constituency, in the National Assembly, Hon Lawal Idrisu Muhammed has described the Media report, describing his one year in office as wasteful and a legislative misfortune, as not only mischievous but misleading

In a statement by his Media aid, Yahaya Prince Yunusa, the member noted that he has provided the needed quality leadership to the people which gave him a re-election for a second term in office and intends to keep the tempo

He maintained that Governor Yahaya Bello as a man of fairness and equity, has ensured that there was even spread in the distribution of both elective and appointive positions in the Local government.


The member stated that the three elective positions of Council chairman, House of Assembly and the house of Representives position was spread across the three districts of the council area.

He said, while the council position is currently being occupied by Ebiya district, the house of Assembly seat and that of the House of Representatives are currently being occupied by Eganyi and Ajaojuta districts respectively.

While describing the authors of the said misleading report as his political detractors and enemies of the people, he said Governor Bello never imposed him on the people, rather, he has ensured that the right thing was done as a good, responsive and true party and community leader.

He mentioned that from his first tenure he has embarked on various community projects and empowerment cutting across the three districts of the local government.

He, said because of his believe the in the educational development of the the Youths of the area, he also embarked on the payment of WAEC and JAMB resgistration for students cutting across the entire Local governnmen area.

Continuing, he said in recent time he has provided palliatives to his constituents, due to the hardship created by the coronavirus pandemic, adding that those describing his representation as ineffective as those who only want to play petty politics.

He said that Governor Bello has been just and fair to the people of Ajaojuta, saying that those trying to cause mischief should refrain from dragging the governor’s name into the local politics of the area.
