The Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha, has said that the National Leader of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Bola Tinubu, was ignorant of happenings in the party under the new leadership of the party headed by Comrade Adams Oshiomhole..
Governor Okorocha disclosed this on Thursday to journalists in Abuja, while reacting to Tinubu’s rejection for the call of some Governors for Oshiomhole’s removal.
The Governor who also doubled as the chairman of the Progressive governor’s forum was apparently reacting to the statement credited to the National to the effect that the Oshiomhole was working in the interest of the party.
“If he is informed properly, he would not say what Oshiomhole is doing is right”, Okorocha maintained ..
The National Leader was quoted saying that he was not in support of the calls by some APC governors for the removal of the Party’s National Chairman, Adams Oshiomhole.
He was said to have rather appealed to aggrieved members to respect the party’s supremacy and channel their grievances through its appeal committee.
