A former Governorship aspirant in the last Kogi state Governorship election under the ruling All Progressives Congress, Prince Banji Jimoh has congratulated the Executive Governor of Kogi state, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on his victory at the Supreme court.
The community and human development enthusiast, in a statement signed and made available to newsmen shortly after the apex court judgement described the victory as the best in the interest of the confluence state.
“Your Excellency sir, your victory at the Supreme court is in the best interest of the people of Kogi state who have been experiencing superlative and rapid development in all sectors of the state.
” Going forward, let me appeal to the good people of Kogi state to continue to support and pray for the Governor who is working on daily basis at ensuring that Kogi state would continue to witness positive development across the nooks and crannies of the state.
“Let me also use this opportunity to appeal to the opposition parties to accept the victory of Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo and join hand with the Governor to move the state forward since the Supreme court has laid to rest all litigations concerning the Kogi state Governorship election for the overall development of all.
While congratulating the Governor and the people of Kogi state on the victory at the Supreme court, the former Governorship aspirant prayer that God will continue to endow the Governor with wisdom, strength, courage and good health to continue to take Kogi state to a great height.
