Alloma Youths Council in Ofu Local Government Area has passed a vote of confidence on the Senior Special Assistant to Kogi State Governor on Print Media, Comrade Ademu Usman Idakwo for being a good ambassador of the youths from the area.
The Youth Council which was led by the President , Mallam Muhammed Mustapha Akpai on a courtesy visit to the governor’s aide at his residence in Alloma over the weekend commended him for his humility, kindness and above all for identifying with the yearning and aspirations of his people.
Mallam Akpai said the youth in the community are ever ready to support the governor’s aide in his political aspiration.
The youth council appealed to the governor’s aide to assist them in opening a functional office accommodation for them to enable them carry out their duties effectively.
Earlier, a one time councillor who represented Okula/Alloma Ward , Honourable Sumaila Shaibu expressed the appreciation to the governor’s aide for his concerned about the youths and the entire community.
Hon. Shaibu who described Idakwo as a humble person charged the Governor’s aide to assist the youth in their campaign against violence in the community .
Responding, honourable Idakwo said he was humbled by the show of love by the youths in the community, adding that this will spore him to do more.
He commended the youths and the Traditional Rulers in the Community, the Ochai Achadu of Alloma , His Royal Highness, Chief Muhammed Isah Ekele for nibbing in the bud the rising wave of cultism, Kidnapping, and social vices in and around the community in the recent past.
He assured that the present administration of Governor Yahaya Bello has zero tolerance for cultism and any other social vices in the state warning that any body caught in the act no matter how highly placed will face the full wrath of the law.
Hon. Idakwo therefore appealed to the youths in the community to embrace peace and as well support the traditional ruler and the youth council to promote peace in the area and urged them to vote massively for the All progressive Congress, APC.
