Heinrich Boell Foundation, ActionAid Nigeria trains participants on Agroforestry agricultural practice

Heinrich Boell Foundation in partnership with ActionAid Nigeria, has trained participants on Agroforestry capacity development in Kungu Farm, Yangoje in Kwali area council.

Participants were drawn from Kogi, Ebonyi, Delta, Jigawa and FCT taking through a 5 day Agroforestry training funded by Heinrich Boell Foundation in partnership with ActionAid Nigeria.

They stressed that Agroforestry is not just the best good agricultural practice (GAP), but the 100% solution to solving climate threat.

Some of the benefits of Agroforestry is that It’s sustainable, guaranteed sustainable food system, create massive employment opportunity and It’s community engaging.

It’s also viable and an investment opportunity for the government and
the road map to a balanced eco system.
