The State House of Assembly Member Representing the good people of Ajaokuta State Constituency, Hon Jibril Abu visited his countryhome—Upake to deliver more dividends support to his people and to reemphasize the Ododo/Joel consolidation project of the All Progressives Congress whose aim is solely victory in the coming Kogi state Governorship Election come 11th November, 2023
The House Member was hosted by the King of the Ancestral Home of the Ebira People, His Royal Majesty Ananyuwa Of Ebiraland (Upake), Hrh Eneye.
Historically, Upake is the hometown of Ebira people, located remotely in Ajaokuta District of Ajaokuta Local Government Area.
Hon Abu in his address emphasized that, ‘It is only a bastard that stretches his left hand at his father’s house before attempting to redeem his father’s lost image. Upake does not and will never breed children without traceable parents.
“We delayed our momentary visit because we wanted to bring home some Good News added to what we already have home to seek so that the blessings of our fathers will be more tremendous for the better days to come in my administration.
He noted that the State Government under the Leadership of the Executive Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Yahaya Bello recently allotted palliatives to each polling Unit and Upake is not exempted. This too, like others have been judiciously distributed.
“However, the Governor graciously approved the upgraded of the stool of Ananyuwa Of Ebiraland (Upake) from 3rd class to 2nd class. This is just the beginning. There will be more positive developments to take residence in our land”.
“During the last Presidential and the State House of Assembly Elections, the people of upake showed not just ancestral significance but their Political myth by making sure APC came victorious in Ajaokuta. This time the message is clearer and direct, we will replicate in greater but good faith our political prowess in making sure we deliver victory to our Party APC by Voting massively for the APC Candidate ALHAJI Ahmed Usman ODODO as Governor of Kogi State and his Deputy, Comrade Joel Oyibo. We want the antecedents of Governor Yahaya Bello in attending to the needs of our people in Kogi State to continue more solidly.
“Victory in the coming election is sacrosanct and much more personal to the people of Upake and Ajaokuta. This is our time and I, your Son, will take the lead in this stainless and odorless trip to victory.”
The Royal host, His Royal Majesty Anayinwa of Upake in his joyous and overwhelming remark rented the air with his heartwarming appreciation to Governor Yahaya Bello for the gift of Hon Jibril Abu of Upake as a representative of Ajaokuta in the State Assembly, followed by the just upgraded stool of ANANYUWA of EBIRALAND (UPAKE) from 3rd class to 2nd class. The evidence is Crystal clear that the Upake people should expect greater future under the APC administration.
Hence, my people and myself do affirm our allegiance with the APC and her Candidates to emerge victorious in the coming state election in Kogi State.
It was a massive reception and highly entertaining moment as the good and hospitable people of Upake entertained guests to songs and meaningful folklore in songs.
Other places and people visited by the House member were Tiv communities, Fulani settlements and a host of other communities and tribes whose livelihood is within the Local Government. Most welcoming was his presence with assurances following.
In his never hidden love for people, Hon Abu paid condolence visits to the families of those we lost along the way, regardless of their party affiliation. He made a stop over at the Family house of late Mr Shuaibu Onoduku who lost his life cruelly in the hands of unknown assailants. He also visited the Families of the Brother of the Councillor of ADOGU/OGODO/UHUOVENE Ward who pulled off the vest of life after a brief illness.
In Upake, Hon Jibril Abu did condole with families of late Pa Adanodo and Pa Orovo, whilst bringing tidings from Hon UsmAn Ahmed Ododo.
It is worthy of note to state that the Honorable member took time out, while addressing the crowd in the stakeholders meeting, to condemn the recent upsurge in insecurity in UPAKE which led to loss of lives, properties. This had surged the fears of the people thereby affecting their usual agrarian nature. Abu vows to engage the security operatives to enhance the security of the community. Good news is that, in less than 24hours, a suspect was apprehended and handed over to the Police for further investigation.
Honourable Jibril Abu did charge the Security architecture in the Community to be up and vigil whilst promising to finance their activities to the effect that it is to the protection of lives and properties Only.
The progenitor of the Together Towards Tomorrow (T3) mantra and his Team who has taken the APC/Ododo/Joel as a Passionately Personal Project (P3) has returned back to base but to continue his door to door campaign hours afterwards.
