As the November 11th Governorship election draw closer, various party members and stakeholders continue to mobilise in favour of their parties, the Ogori-Magongo chapter of the Salisu Usman Ogbo Support Group for Ododo and Joel has declared that the people of Ogori and Magongo communities are set to overwhelming vote for the All Peoples Congress (APC) candidate, Alhahi Usman Ahmed Ododo in the gubernatorial contest.
In a communique issued at the end of the bi-weekly executive meeting, the support group reaffirmed that politics is localised and the propaganda of the Social Democratic Party would be brought to an open disgrace by it’s colossal loss come 11th November, 2023
The group who prides the Ododo-Joel mandate as the most qualified in terms of grassroot knowledge and awareness, also argued that Kogi state can not be left in the hands of zero-experienced candidates, who cannot possibly present their secondary school certificate to the public.
The communique was signed by the Public Relations Officer and the Chief Mobilisation officer of the Group, Comrade Abdulwaheed Salihu and Hon Monday Anuwe respectively.
The group also lunched a special campaign slogan, ‘Talk to a Voter for APC’ at the end of its meeting in Ogori, and explained that most of the noise making politicians are not voters, insisting that when you don’t have voters’ card, you don’t also have polling units as such can not be taken as a politically active citizen.
They described most people opposing APC particularly on the social media as attention seekers.
