The General Manager, Kogi Community and Social Development Agency, (CSDP), Chief Dauda Momoh has described the victory of Ododo Ahmed Usman in the last Saturday governorship election, as victory for Community Development across the state.
The General Manager stated this at the Agency’s banquet hall in Lokoja during a prayer session organized to mark his birthday celebration and to rejoice with the Governor- Elect.
Speaking at the Occasion which was organized by the Management and Staff of the Commission, described the victory of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo as victory to consolidate on the achievements of Governor Yahaya Bello in community development.
Chief Momoh, tasked staff of the Agency on the need to work together to promote unity in CSDA, saying there is need to justify the confidence the Agency has attained in community development over the years.
Mallam Momoh who was overwhelmed by the show of love for the Governor-Elect, charged the staff to continue in the spirit of magnanimity, unity and love.
In his words” We will work together to promote unity in CSDA as envisioned by Governor Yahaya Bello”, described the Governor Elect as a promoter of a united Kogi State.
He called for the spirit of commitment among staff of the Agency, stating that the work in the CSDA should not revolve round the General Manager alone, noting that it is a collective responsibility by the various departments and units.
” We are celebrating today because the incoming Governor is community development personified”.
” His disposition to community development is exemplified by his support to communities, contribution to education”, maintaining that the Governor Elect has all it takes to sustain the achievements of Gov Bello in the Agency.
Chief Momoh stressed the need for Management and staff to imbibe the spirit of obedience to constituted authorities, urging the Senior Management to carry the junior staff along so that the junior staff would be obliged to respect the senior Management. According to him, “love goes with obedience”.
The CSDA boss commended the departmental heads of the Agency and gave a thumb up for all workers of the Agency for their unalloyed cooperation.
He therefore promised to continuously work harmoniously with the Agency staffers in order to move the organisation forward.
Earlier, All the departmental heads, while gaving their goodwill messages intimated the celebrant that the Management and staff of the Agency considered it apt and deserving to honour and celebrate the General Manager on his birthday anniversary particularly that it coincide with the victory of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
The Staff described the gesture as a show of love for the visionary leadership of Chief Momoh since he assumed office and expressed support for the incoming administration of Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
According to Engr. Bayode Oladipo, “the General Manager has demonstrated an uncommon leadership style. We the management and staff have decided to honour and celebrate you on your birthday anniversary as a show of love for your visionary leadership”.
Similarly, Mark Abu, Director Finance and Administration, said “We consider it appropriate to rejoice with you on this auspicious occasion. Without mincing words, we are ready and willing to do more for the incoming administration “.
