A Frontline member of the All Progressives Congress, (APC), Alh moshood omuya has congratulated
Dr. Abdullahi Mustapha over appointment as DG/ CEO energy commission of Nigeria, (ECN), by President Ahmed Bola Tinubu.
In a congratulatory message signed by Omuya and made available to journalists in Lokoja, he described Dr. Mustapha as e torror breed engineer who will bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new appointment.
According to him, Dr. Mustapha will assist President Tinubu in his quest to bring about the needed positive change in the energy sector, with his wealth of experience and significant background in the Energy and Space Technology sectors.
He commended president Tinubu for the choice of Dr. Mustapha, stressing that he will not disappoint him as someone he knew too well as a hardworking and a result oriented personality.
He prayed that Almighty Allah will protect, guide and sustain him throughout his tenure.
President Bola Tinubu had recently approved the appointment of Dr. Abdullahi Mustapha as the Director-General and Chief Executive Officer of the Energy Commission of Nigeria (ECN).
According to a statement by presidential spokesman Ajuri Ngelale on Monday, “President Tinubu expects the new ECN Chief Executive to make a positive impact on his administration’s intensive push to diversify the nation’s energy sources in a synergized fashion across the government toward the ultimate aim of industrializing every part of the country with every citizen emancipated from the shackles of energy poverty,”
Dr Mustapha Abdullahu has over a decade of experience from the Nigerian Upstream Petroleum Regulatory Commission (NUPRC), with a significant background in the Energy and Space Technology sectors.
Most notably, Dr. Mustapha recently completed his Doctorate in Mechanical Engineering with a focus on Renewable Energy.
Following this achievement, he pursued a Post-Doctoral Fellowship as a Research Associate at the University of Manchester’s School of Engineering.
