The Forum of Heads of Department (HOD), of Education in Kogi State, has congratulated Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani over her appointment as the Accountant General (AG), of the state.
In a statement by the chairperson of the group, Sefiya Orahanoh Abubakar, said the group is proud of Hajia Habiba, saying that she has given the women of Kogi State a very quality representation in her former position as permanent Secretary, ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs.
They Thanked the Governor of the state, Alhaji Yahaya Bello, for finding a woman worthy of that exalted position, saying that they will continue to accord him their unalloyed support and respect beyond his tenure as Governor of the state.
The group also commended the efforts of Hajia Habiba Oyiza for mobilizing the wemen group which resulted in the massive votes delivered by women in the last governorship election, which they said gave the Governor-elec, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo a well deserved victory.
The group solicited the cooperation of all Staff of the Accountant General’s office for Hajia Habiba Oyiza Tijani to enable her succeed in her new assignment.
They maintained that, given the track record of Hajia Habiba Oyiza, in her previous assignments as someone who is committed and a goal getter, she would deliver on her new job.
“On our part, we will continue to support her to succeed in her new assignment, the group promised.
